From Jan 29th-Feb 04th, within the frame of the CARD AgroService and the US-based World Wide Sires (WWS) collaboration, Mr. Gene Monfore was hosted to Armenia for a short-term visit aimed at delivering trainings on the AI technology, feeding, calf rearing and general dairy farm management.
During his visit, two theoretical and practical seminars were delivered for 11 veterinarians and 4 AI technicians. Visits were paid to several farms, among them as well farms located in the South of Armenia, and provided consultancy on reproduction and dairy herd management.
As a result, 11 new young veterinarians were trained and received Certificates for AI technician who can further on provide AI services.
The big scale dairy farmers collaborating with the CARD AgroService were also involved and got basic knowledge about dairy farm management.
